Paul Albano was born in New Haven, Connecticut on November 30, 1989. He moved to East Haven, CT when he was 7 years old. After graduating from East Haven High School, Paul attended the University of Connecticut where he found his love of writing by a creative writing assignment for one of his classes.

After graduating in 2013 with Bachelor and Master degrees in education, Paul worked in the New Haven School System before transitioning to Bridgeport where he now teaches social studies.

Paul published his first novel, Since My Last Confession, in September of 2017, and his short story, Dial S for Salvation,  was published in Sanitarium Magazine, Issue 30.

​

In addition to teaching and writing, Paul is also a licensed real estate agent and specializes in East Haven properties as well as neighboring towns and cities.

​

In 2019, Paul founded Option 13 Entertainment and presents and promotes his writing through the company. He publishes his work both independently and through publishers, leaving the opportunity open to sign with a literary agent. He is also open to selling the film rights to any of his work as long as he is a part of the creative process.
